The Hills District page is for people who live and work in the northwest: Norwest, Bella Vista, Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills and the suburbs around them. Many moved here for space and schools, and still run a business or a practice that used to be closer to Parramatta or the city. The page is about that pattern. It does not publish a street address, including for any office a reader may have heard of.
Meetings are in person in the Hills District or by video. Financial advice is provided by MGB Financial Services. Vermilion makes the introduction and does not give the advice.

Local clients
Hills District clients
A couple who bought in the Hills when the children were small and are now, in their fifties, asking whether retirement planning has been left too late. Super is often in more than one fund. The home is not an advice topic on this page. The super, the insurance and the spending are.
A business owner based at Norwest or nearby, with staff, a lease and a personal income that depends on the business continuing. Key-person and buy-sell insurance are not described as services here, because the Financial Services Guide does not set them out as a business-insurance offer. Personal insurance for the owner, and super contributions, are the subjects that are in the guide. Tax and the company structure stay with the accountant.
A professional who commutes toward Parramatta or the city a few days a week and works from the Hills on the others. They do not want a meeting that fights the M2. Video, or an in-person hour in the Hills, is how the introduction is booked. Families who are really based at Westmead should use the Parramatta page instead.
Meetings
How Hills District meetings work
In person somewhere in the Hills District that is agreed for that appointment, or by video. This page deliberately does not print a street, a suite or a building. Publishing one would tell search engines, and readers, that a public counter exists. Appointment details go to the attendee.
School pickup and the drive to Norwest are the scheduling facts. Early morning video works for people who are on a site later. An in-person meeting works when both partners want to be in the room and the children are at school.
The introduction is general. If you continue, MGB Financial Services explains scope and fees before personal advice. Estate planning, where the question is a will or control of a structure, is with specialist legal partners.
How it works
Five steps, from a conversation to written advice
The steps below describe the introduction. They are the same on each advice page so the process is easy to compare. Personal advice, if you proceed, is given by MGB Financial Services.
A private consultation
You book a free initial 15-minute chat with Vermilion. The conversation is about the questions you want to raise. It is general. It is not personal advice, and you can stop after it.
An introduction, if you want one
If you ask us to, Vermilion passes your enquiry to MGB Financial Services Pty Ltd. If you do not, the enquiry stays with Vermilion. Vermilion does not hold an Australian financial services licence and does not give the advice.
Scope and fees, before advice
MGB Financial Services explains what the advice would cover, and the fees, before personal advice is prepared. This website does not set those fees. The Financial Services Guide describes how MGB Financial Services is paid.
Advice in writing
If you proceed, personal advice is documented for you to read before you act on it. The document is prepared by MGB Financial Services, after your own circumstances have been considered.
Reviews, where agreed
An ongoing relationship can include reviews of the arrangements you have agreed. The timetable is set with MGB Financial Services. It is not assumed, and it is not a promise that an outcome will be reached.
Questions
FAQs
Which Hills suburbs does this page refer to?
The Hills District in ordinary use, including Norwest, Bella Vista, Castle Hill and Baulkham Hills. The names describe where clients live and work. They are not a street address and they are not a claim that a public office is open in each suburb.
Why is there no street address?
Location pages explain where conversations can happen. They do not publish a street, suite or map pin. If you meet in person, the place is sent to you. That is a deliberate limit, not an omission to be filled in later on this page.
Do business owners in Norwest use this page?
Yes. Owners based around Norwest ask about personal insurance and superannuation, with tax left to their accountant. This page does not offer business-structure advice, and it does not describe buy-sell or key-person cover as a service.
Can a couple meet in person in the Hills?
Yes. An in-person introduction in the Hills District can be arranged, as can a video call when travel or school hours get in the way. The meeting is not personal advice. Advice, if you want it, is provided afterwards by MGB Financial Services.
How is this different from Parramatta?
Parramatta is written around the Westmead medical precinct and the Parramatta commercial centre. The Hills page is written around families and Norwest businesses who live northwest of that. Commuting through Parramatta does not make the pages interchangeable.
Who provides financial advice?
MGB Financial Services Pty Ltd, Authorised Representative 428617 of Charter Financial Planning Limited, AFSL and Australian Credit Licence 234665. Vermilion does not hold an Australian financial services licence.

Credentials of the practice
Financial advice is provided by MGB Financial Services Pty Ltd, Authorised Representative No. 428617 of Charter Financial Planning Limited. The practice gives personal advice only through people who are registered to do so. This website does not name an individual adviser.
You can search the ASIC Financial Advisers Register for the practice and for the people authorised to give personal advice. The Financial Services Guide sets out the services, how the practice is paid, and how to complain.
Complaints can be raised with MGB Financial Services, then with Charter Financial Planning using the details in the Financial Services Guide, and then with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority ( afca.org.au, 1800 931 678).
