Sydney financial planning, on this page, is the way Vermilion introduces people who live or work in Sydney to MGB Financial Services. The phrase covers the authorised services: retirement planning, superannuation, personal insurance, wealth accumulation, cash flow, and government benefits where they apply. SMSF advice in Sydney, provided by MGB Financial Services, is on SMSF adviser Sydney. This page does not mean Vermilion has a shopfront, and it does not publish a street address.

Financial advice Sydney residents ask about is provided by MGB Financial Services Pty Ltd, not by Vermilion. The pages linked from here explain the subjects. This page explains the place: who tends to get in touch from Sydney, and how a meeting actually happens.

Local clients

Sydney clients, in general terms

A specialist with consulting rooms in the city and a hospital list that starts early. The financial questions are usually income protection and super left in more than one fund from earlier appointments. The working day does not leave a long lunch, so the first conversation is often a video call between sessions, with an in-person meeting later if the person wants advice to proceed.

A couple who both work in professional services, one in the CBD and one from home a few suburbs out. They are not looking for a product. They want retirement planning described before either of them reduces hours. School fees and a mortgage sit in the cash flow. None of that is solved on a webpage.

A business owner who lives in Sydney and travels. The personal wealth and the business are easy to mix together. Tax stays with their accountant. Estate planning is with specialist legal partners. The financial advice, if they ask for it, is the personal insurance, super and retirement work in the Financial Services Guide.

Meetings

Financial advice Sydney: how a meeting works

There are two ordinary ways to meet. In person, at a place agreed in Sydney for that appointment. Or by video, which is the same conversation. Vermilion does not ask anyone to treat a video call as a lesser introduction. Many Sydney diaries only work that way.

This page does not give a street address, a map pin or an office photo with a door number. If a room is booked, the details are sent to the person attending. They are not published here, because a published address would suggest a public office this page is not claiming.

Parramatta and Westmead, the North Shore, the Eastern Suburbs and the Hills District have their own pages. Use those if that is where you actually live or practise. Sydney is the hub, not a substitute for them.

How it works

Five steps, from a conversation to written advice

The steps below describe the introduction. They are the same on each advice page so the process is easy to compare. Personal advice, if you proceed, is given by MGB Financial Services.

  1. A private consultation

You book a free initial 15-minute chat with Vermilion. The conversation is about the questions you want to raise. It is general. It is not personal advice, and you can stop after it.

  2. An introduction, if you want one

If you ask us to, Vermilion passes your enquiry to MGB Financial Services Pty Ltd. If you do not, the enquiry stays with Vermilion. Vermilion does not hold an Australian financial services licence and does not give the advice.

  3. Scope and fees, before advice

MGB Financial Services explains what the advice would cover, and the fees, before personal advice is prepared. This website does not set those fees. The Financial Services Guide describes how MGB Financial Services is paid.

  4. Advice in writing

If you proceed, personal advice is documented for you to read before you act on it. The document is prepared by MGB Financial Services, after your own circumstances have been considered.

  5. Reviews, where agreed

An ongoing relationship can include reviews of the arrangements you have agreed. The timetable is set with MGB Financial Services. It is not assumed, and it is not a promise that an outcome will be reached.

Questions

FAQs

Where do Sydney meetings happen?

In person at a place agreed for that appointment in Sydney, or by video. The arrangement is confirmed with you. This website does not publish a street address for Sydney or for any other area.

Do you publish a Sydney office address?

No. Location pages describe the areas where conversations happen. They do not show a street, a suite number or a map. Meeting details are sent privately to the people who are attending.

Who is Sydney financial planning for?

Professionals, medical specialists and business owners who live or work in Sydney, and families whose affairs are already more complicated than a single super account. The information is general. Personal advice is provided by MGB Financial Services if you ask for an introduction.

What does financial advice Sydney mean on this page?

It means financial advice for people in Sydney, provided by MGB Financial Services Pty Ltd, Authorised Representative 428617 of Charter Financial Planning Limited. Vermilion arranges the introduction. The advice topics are those in the Financial Services Guide, not a wider private-bank service.

Can a Sydney meeting be by video?

Yes. Video is a normal way to hold the introductory conversation, particularly where a clinic, a court list or a board day makes travel wasteful. It is not personal advice, and it is not recorded as a convenience that changes the licence.

Which services can a Sydney conversation cover?

Retirement planning and superannuation, SMSF advice in Sydney provided by MGB Financial Services, personal insurance, wealth management within the Financial Services Guide, and the private-client and doctor pages where they fit. Estate planning is with specialist legal partners. Vermilion does not give the advice.

The advice provider

Credentials of the practice

Complaints can be raised with MGB Financial Services, then with Charter Financial Planning using the details in the Financial Services Guide, and then with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority ( afca.org.au, 1800 931 678).
